Cervical screening is part of the national screening programme. It is free NHS health test that is used to help prevent cervical cancer by testing for HPV and if required, analysing the cells of the cervix. It is not a test for cancer.
It is offered to those registered as a female between the ages of 25 to 64 and you can attend once this invitation has been received.
There is number of clinicians within the practice who currently complete cervical screening
