CHANGE TO THE MMR VACCINATION
There has been a change to the national schedule for the MMRV vaccine, which protects against measles, mumps, rubella and chickenpox.
This update follows new NHS guidance to make sure children continue to be well protected. Some children may now be offered the vaccine at a different time than before.
If your child is invited for an appointment, we encourage you to attend even if you think your child is already fully vaccinated. This allows us to check their records and provide further clarity if needed.
If this change affects your child, our practice team will explain what it means and answer any questions you have.
